The midterm elections are over. The Democrats have gained control of both chambers of Congress. Standing by for the impeachments, the proposals and the mayhem in the halls of congress. It isn’t going to be a smooth transition of power that much is certain. The people have spoken and this is what they said: we want more free stuff, and we do not want any restrictions on morality.

That is my analysis of what happened. The Democrats promising a socialist utopia free from accountably and responsibility. Open borders. That is the pathway to the retention of their power, just import voters. The little issue of citizenship will be resolved by simply issuing citizenship to everyone. The interpretation of the constitution will become, if you are in the country, you are a citizen!

Things have to get worse before they get better. That’s my thought on all of this. There are those that just have to learn the hard way. When the big crash occurs, and it will, that will be a rude awakening. We’ve all read about the great depression, how that was in America. There was a great credit boom prior to that crash. In short, spending money that we really didn’t have, a democratic policy that is evident today. Just borrow and spend, that’s the policy.

FDR as the president instituted the “new deal” and a host of other programs. A few of those programs centered on putting people to work! People were given the opportunity to work on government funded projects to provide income for families. It wasn’t just a handout like today! Following FDR presidential term limits were established. You know why? It became evident that as long as the government provided jobs and assistance to the people, they would keep voting for that. Democrats are still offering all of that and more to this day!

When asked what type of government had been created at the convention in Philadelphia in 1787, a full eleven years after having gained our independence, Benjamin Franklim replied, a republic if you can but keep it. Note he didn’t say it was a democracy, it is a republic.

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship” (Alexander Fraser Tytier)

Yes, sounds like the democratic party plan to me. Borrow and spend. When the republic collapses, when democracy takes hold, that marks a beginning. The end is inevitable. Know who winds up being the dictator? The one that created the democracy is the answer. But it isn’t over yet. The pendulum swings both ways.
