I was listening to the most recent social upheaval regarding the trans people. This was about the two former NBA players declaring for the WNBA draft. It has really put the WNBA on the spot.

The WNBA rule book says only women can play in WNBA but neglects to define just what a woman is. They didn’t state the obvious. Those “players” declaring for the draft are just following the rule book. One of them, in an interview stated he sometimes identifies as a woman. A 6 foot 8 inch 260 pound woman.

The president of the league and the board of directors are wearing tee shirts with the word inclusion on them. They certainly need to include those players or face a discrimination lawsuit. Between the proverbial rock and a hard spot.

This isn’t the only instance of not stating the obvious. I can’t help but think about voting rights. It’s an absolute fact that the constitution of the United States does not specifically state you have to be a citizen to vote. 49 state constitutions do, however.

The founding fathers didn’t think that needed to be stated, as it should be obvious, you know, like the difference between a man and a woman. And now we have those saying that having to prove citizenship to vote is unconstitutional.

The federal constitution, under the supremacy clause, applies. It doesn’t say you even have to be a citizen, let alone prove that. It’s up to the states to decide on that. There are currently nine states that do require documentary proof of citizenship to vote under certain conditions. The required documents vary widely from one state to the other.

All of this falls into the same category as far as I’m concerned. It’s like the whole gun debate. The founding fathers didn’t know we would have an AR-15. Yeah, they didn’t know we would have an automobile or airplanes either. The right to keep and bear arms is guaranteed by the 2nd amendment.

You could say that they just failed to mention the obvious. You have that right because you have an absolute right to defend yourself against others, including the government! A disarmed public isn’t free, it is hostage to the government.

It’ll be interesting to see what becomes of this WNBA situation. How will that be resolved? Seems to me the WNBA is going to have to define exactly what qualifies one as a woman. Currently they are only saying they believe these men are acting in bad faith.

Guessing they know exactly what a man is, unless they are being “transphobic” by calling those self-identified women by the wrong pronoun! Where is that definition, just what is a man?

It’s pretty obvious to me, I’ve been able to tell the difference between the two since at least Kindergarten. Sure, there were times I was fooled, but never much beyond a visual thing. I’m thankful for that!

Had it been otherwise there most definitely would have been a violent reaction! I never had to state that; it was something I always assumed was obvious to everyone. Later in life, you know, after kindergarten, I heard about those living in closets. No one needed to explain that to me, the reason was obvious.
