Was reading a bit about scientists using A.I. to create new strains/variations of viruses. It was reported over three hundred new varieties have been created already. Of those three hundred about thirty were successful. Not certain what that meant.

Not being a scientist or really having knowledge of viral infections and such, I have to trust the science. What I mean is, trust that they know what they are doing. The article claims it could be a modern miracle, quantum leaps in science and the ability to combat infectious diseases!

My first thought was, are they creating the cure before they create the virus? This A.I. is supposed to be creating a virus then providing the cure. Makes sense to me, it’s just logical. If I create something, I know how to uncreate that something. If I build it, I can destroy it.

Now some will say that I’m expounding a conspiracy theory. That’s fair enough I suppose, although I’m calling it predictive. Should one of these viruses escape the lab, the vaccine would be readily available. Guaranteed to sell! At least the government would be buying it, proclaiming it is free. Moderna received 16.9 billion for their vaccine.

Another issue would be using this new technology to create biological weapons. They are creating brand new bacterial infections/mutations or whatever. Never seen before in nature.

I do believe in one simple premise, it’s not nice to fool mother nature! I know that was a catch line for a television commercial selling butter, but I believe it is a valid adage. I really don’t think we should be using artificial intelligence to manipulate the universe. Creation is still a mystery to mankind.

Just one article I was reading. As with everything, there are multiple sources and multiple opinions.
