It’s something I talk about often, the use of terms that don’t really apply to whatever it is they are being applied to. Topping the list is perhaps the calling of our government a democracy. It is not a democracy. It does contain democratic principles, but it is not a democracy!

In a close second place is the calling of everything you don’t agree with, or like, a phobia. I’m not afraid of gay people, not afraid of them in any way at all. They do not cause me any anxiety. I simply disagree with their lifestyle and their choices. I don’t agree with Met fans either. I don’t have Metphobia!

Consider the whole illegal thing. They broke the law, committed a criminal act, yet I’m being told they are not illegal. That is the very definition of illegal, breaking the law! Whether or not you have had a trial, had a hearing or whatever, you still broke the law. Justice is the result of litigation. What is being litigated? Your illegal action!

Then we reach the whole abortion is healthcare thing. Yes, abortion should be healthcare, only performed to save the life of either mother or child. That is the sole purpose of having an abortion. It’s the last resort in saving a life. And by life, I mean an actual life, not an inconvenience to your daily activities. I’m talking about a beating heart!

Inequity. Hear that an awful lot these days as well. Yes, things aren’t always equal. You know what? That’s the natural order of things. All things being equal, inequity remains. Equal opportunity doesn’t mean equal results. Bottom line is, only one can win the race. Deal with it.

It is a binary world. I don’t care what you think it may be, could be or should be. Everything is binary! There will be aberrations, differences, abnormalities, defects, rejects and freaks! They are still just one or the other. Either they are, or they aren’t.

Colors are dark and light. Sound is loud or soft. Temperature is hot or cold. You are either up or down. Everything in between is just a measurement of one side of the spectrum! We talk a lot about spectrums these days. A spectrum is used to classify something in terms of its position on a scale between two extreme points. Two, binary.

One more thing, there is no such thing as democratic socialism! There is nothing democratic about socialism, nothing. It’s just another term made up to sound like it means something it does not represent. A sales pitch. I’m not buying! No sale, a binary decision once again. Either you are, or you aren’t.
