Never having been one to go with the crowd, I find it difficult to understand how so many join in these protests. I really don’t understand how so many don’t seem to have jobs and the time to spend involving themselves with these things. Not that you shouldn’t be civically conscious, but you don’t have anything better to do than that? Celebrities and politicians often get involved, it’s more about feeling important to them is my thought, maybe gain a few fans or votes. These protests happening around the country all strike me more as an entertainment than any real effort to change any legislation, effect any changes.

Mass media appears to be creating mass hysteria or a frenzy of sorts. It sure seems to be making lots of people act very strangely. I realize that some people want “views” on Facebook and are trying to get followers. I just don’t get it, I really don’t, do you really believe engaging in any of that will change a thing? It all just looks like a cult thing to me! So many joining in this cult of protest against common sense and the rule of law. You could just as well be waiting for that starship coming with Haley’s comet!

I’m amused by the celebrities that believe I care what they think about anything other than whatever it is they do to entertain me. Hey celebrity person, I enjoy you because you amuse me, that’s it. You’re an amusement, not a mentor! I don’t care about your political views, your personal sexual appetites, or what causes you support. You exist to amuse me. As for you others, with your purple hair, nose rings, screaming and shouting about inequities in life, you aren’t accomplishing a thing beyond looking like an idiot. Some of you prove that by getting pepper sprayed and locked up.

I can’t help but laugh to myself about all of this nonsense. The day will come when their children or grandchildren will question these protestors regarding their involvement. What were you protesting? What’s funny is the only answer they will have to offer is, “everyone was dong it.” They aren’t really going to try to explain any of this because they already know how stupid it is. Yes, I threw a brick at a federal official, everyone was doing it.

Well son, everyone was doing it!
